Senior Web Application Developer (Front End .NET)

You've honed your HTML5, jQuery and CSS3 skills. And have perhaps dabbled with Knockout.js or Bootstrap. You like staying current with latest trends in web design and development. You know how to make a slick front end on top of powerful enterprise APIs. You dream about UX, take extraordinary pride in your work, and have a meticulous attention to detail. And reporting? You've done enough pie charts and HTML grids to write a book on it!

This is a senior position. Applicants must be capable and willing to take OWNERSHIP of the entire front-end of the application. You will have the assistance of other developers, but are expected yourself to be developing most of the time. This is not a managerial position, but could evolve into one quickly if that's something you're interested in pursuing.

You will join our core engineering team tasked with making our recently released Vector370 product even more consumer friendly. This position is focused on primarily front-end portal application development atop a rich set of RESTful JSON APIs. The API layer is handled by another team, and the services layer for the front end (.NET MVC 4) is already written. We need your expertise to help put the spit-shine on it and make it an awesome user experience!


- Work with UI designers and product manager to create appealing wireframes that take advantage of HTML5 capabilities and provide a great user experience
- Develop interactive and innovative web application features on time and on budget using HTML5, jQuery, CSS3, and C#.NET MVC
- Integrate with REST and SOAP APIs
- Work with QA Engineers to identify and resolve bugs
- Stay informed of latest innovations related to web development and actively participate in discussions on how we can further innovate in the field


- 5+ years’ experience developing web sites and applications using HTML5, jQuery and CSS3
- 3+ years’ experience with C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server
- Knowledge of iterative (Agile / Scrum) software engineering processes

Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services. Personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers.

You have a proven track record of delivering great enterprise-quality code, on time. You are experienced and generally know what the architecture should look like for a given use case as soon as you see it. You keep in tune with the latest advancements in software technologies and are quick to educate yourself on things you don’t already know. Ideally you have experience with Team Foundation Server and can maximize the benefit of that platform. You also know about how to properly utilize cloud architectures like Microsoft Azure and are eager to do so.

If this sounds like you, we’ve got a great opportunity for you in downtown Austin. You will join our solutions engineering team tasked with developing mobile websites and applications for major brands. This position is focused on back-end development of custom mobile and responsive web projects for our clients and partners. In some cases you may be responsible for an entire project, and sometimes just a piece of the project.


- Develop mobile and responsive web applications using latest cloud and .NET technologies
- Collaborate with architects and other developers on architecture decisions
- Document build and deployment instructions for all code
- Work with project managers to understand business requirements
- Work with QA Engineers to identify and fix bugs
- Stay informed of latest innovations related to web development and actively participate in discussions on how we can further innovate in the field


- 5+ years’ experience developing C#, ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC solutions
- Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle and Agile SCRUM methods
- Strong knowledge of C#, HTML and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of web technologies including REST, SOAP and XML web services
- Strong understanding of relational database design, SQL Server, LINQ to SQL and Entity Framework
- Strong organizational, documentation and communication skills and a track record of dependable job performance
